This course is designed for new doctoral students at the Institute of Health Policy and Management. It consists of four building blocks. The first is a warm-up concerning the nature of education, public health, and academic research. The second deals with the health system, including social changes, health transition, health care reforms, health promotion, and health for all movement. The third is: Know Your Professors - provides a unique opportunity for students to learn more about the faculty, including their research life and thoughts. The fourth is: Know Yourself - students are required to present their profile and career dream through a term paper.
